Tutor: Kevin Scully
10am - 4pm
This one-day, onsite workshop is for those who have already started to paint in watercolour, and would like to make further progress by sharpening up their skills.
Workshop Details
A follow-on workshop for those who have previously painted in watercolour, and would now like to advance further with the medium. We will be practising a range of techniques aimed at equipping you with the necessary skills to create different effects in your paintings. We will look at colour combinations, composition and touch on perspective. You will be shown tips on how you can produce looser, and more lively paintings whilst still applying those skills learnt on a previous workshop. You will be introduced to some materials that have specific uses in watercolour painting, as well as a few more slightly unconventional tools.
Skills/Techniques Covered
Materials
Materials are not included in the booking fee. Some materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £10, payable to the tutor during the course. The items you will need to bring with you are listed below.
Please bring with you
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment
