This will be a 60 minute talk followed by an open Q&A session.
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was a brilliant French painter, printmaker and draughtsman. His caricatures, illustrations and posters seems to define an epoch. The talk looks at his life, and the world of Paris in the late nineteenth century. Martin looks at his art with original examples and also examines Lautrec’s influences and his lasting impact on the development of art.
