There will be a variety of drawing materials supplied for you to produce both quick sketches and finished detailed portrait drawings. You will have the chance to experiment with a variety of media including pencils, pens, charcoal and pastels in both black and white and colour on a variety of drawing surfaces. All reference material will be supplied, but you are welcome to bring along any of your own images to work from. This is a course for those with a basic ability for drawing.

Materials are not included in your course fee. All materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £10.00, payable to the tutor during the course.
The tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book

No other materials are required, unless you would like to bring any of your favourite pencils, pens etc. You may also like to bring any photographs that you wish to use as reference.
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.
