Further Detail
In the morning Victoria will show you how to mix and apply the dyes to paper. She will show you the sublimation process which happens when the dyes are transferred using an iron to fabric and cotton rag paper. Victoria will also show varied ideas for compositions and techniques with machine and hand stitch to enhance your images after printing. Because each painted image on paper allow for 4-5 prints onto different surfaces, there is scope to create a wide range of work in one day.
During the afternoon you will have ample time to experiment and create several pieces of work to take home to frame, make into wall hangings or soft furnishings.
