Using floristry techniques which will be taught on the day, we will design and make a wreath and a swag. The wreath will be prepared in the morning session then after a festive themed lunch, we will move onto the swag. Nature has provided some beautiful objects just waiting to be collected and combined into little pieces of art, so you are encouraged to bring a range of foraged materials with you (see below).

Materials
Materials are not included in your course fee. Most materials will be provided by the tutor the approximate cost of these will be £20, payable to the tutor during the course. We encourage you to bring along nice found natural objects, some suggestions are listed below. We will also raid the Ardington School garden for fresh ivy, yew, hawthorn, buddleia heads etc
The tutor will not have the facility to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book

We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.

Please Bring With You
- Secateurs or wire snippers or old tough scissors if you have them (the school has some you can borrow)
- If you can find some natural objects from your own garden or on a nature / beach walk, then please bring them along e.g. Feathers, pine cones, good dried seed heads such as poppy, honesty, crocosmia, rose hips, ivy berries, beech nuts, acorns, small pieces of driftwood or bark, hydrangea heads, star anise, cinnamon sticks, nuts, herb sprigs, bay leaf sprigs, skeletonised leaves, nice pebbles or shells etc
- If you wish you can also bring some Christmas baubles and other decorative elements to include in your design
