This LivePlus™ online workshop is suitable for everyone. You needn't have the materials ready whilst watching this online demonstration – it is a time to watch, ask and learn.
Workshop details
A fun workshop to explore printing on fabric in a variety of ways to create little brooches or decorations – perfect for pinning to a hat and scarf, hanging on the tree for Christmas, or simply a gift to yourself or a friend!
We will explore simple techniques for making your own stamps using craft foam, then inking them up with acrylic paint or stamping pads to create tiny individual motifs for the button brooches or small composite images for the hanging decorations.
These can then be embellished with a variety of simple embroidery stitches, or beads, sequins and 3D paints.
Finally, we will look at finishing off both items to create a tidy professional-looking border and backing for each.
No experience needed – a fun and informal workshop for everyone.

Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online blackboard. Helpful and easy to use, they enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – just as you would in a classroom environment.
Karen will offer personalised critique / feedback via the blackboard for any work uploaded by students within thirty days of the class ending. You will be sent the link to access your blackboard in the week before your class begins and will have access for at least sixty days after the class ends.
After the live session has finished on Zoom, we will share the link to view the recording on the blackboard. You can watch the recording as many times as you like for sixty days.
We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
