Class details
Back for the Spring term, is our new & improved Zentangle® Art Club - hosted by Ardington ONLINE and led by Certified Zentangle® Teacher, Sheila Murray. The club provides a perfect opportunity to step out of your daily routine and immerse yourself in the world of tangling - relaxation and creativity at their best!
In this class, we will welcome you to the enchanting world of Zentangle® Inspired Art, with the Toucan; the final class in our Birds & Animals series. Embark on a creative journey where nature and mindfulness converge. We will explore the mesmerizing fusion of structured patterns, known as "tangles," with the grace and beauty of animals and birds. Your artwork will spring to life from a carefully crafted template, providing a canvas for your imagination to soar.
Differing slightly from our usual LivePlus™ format, these classes are completely interactive - from both a teaching and a social aspect - and as such all students are encouraged to tangle along live each week to gain the most from the process.
To enable you to practice again in your own time, the sessions will be recorded and each new tangle will be accompanied by written notes as an aide memoire.
You can see the details of the other classes in this series, by clicking here.
Specific skills you will learn
- We will follow the inspiring Zentangle® Method
- You will be able to understand the Zentangle® Terminology
- A variety of tangle styles and how to draw them
- Shading techniques
- Optional use of colour
Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online blackboard. Helpful and easy to use, they enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – just as you would in a classroom environment.
Sheila will offer feedback via the blackboard for any work uploaded by students within thirty days of the class ending. You will be sent the link to access your blackboard in the week before your class begins and will have access for at least sixty days after the class ends.
After the live session has finished on Zoom, we will share the link to view the recording on the blackboard. You can watch the recording as many times as you like for sixty days.
We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
