Course details
Back for the Summer term, is our new & improved Zentangle® Art Club - hosted by Ardington ONLINE and led by Certified Zentangle® Teacher, Sheila Murray. The club provides a perfect opportunity to step out of your daily routine and immerse yourself in the world of tangling - relaxation and creativity at their best!
In this three-part series, we will welcome you to the enchanting world of Zentangle® Inspired Art: Beneath the Waves. Embark on a creative journey where nature and mindfulness converge. We will explore the mesmerizing fusion of structured patterns, known as "tangles," with the colours and excitement you'd find exploring the oceans. We will create each canvas freehand, allowing your imagination to soar.
All students are encouraged to tangle along live each week to gain the most from the process, but to enable you to practice again in your own time, the sessions will be recorded. Each new tangle will be accompanied by written notes as an aide memoire.
Specific skills you will learn
- We will follow the inspiring Zentangle® Method
- You will be able to understand the Zentangle® Terminology
- A variety of tangle styles and how to draw them
- Shading techniques
- Use of colour
Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online class page. Helpful and easy to use, these private pages enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – before, during, and after class.
Sheila will offer personal feedback for any work submitted via the class page within thirty days of the class ending. The link to access the page will be shared via email in the days leading up to the class.
We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment. For full terms and conditions, please click here.
