Course details
Spend two hours immersed in creativity in our newest watercolour workshop, 'Sunset Seascapes'.
Explore the ethereal world of watercolour painting as Jonathan guides you through the process of capturing the vivid hues of a sunset over a tranquil seascape. You'll experiment with brush techniques, colour blending, and atmospheric perspective to bring the scene to life on paper.
Jonathan will demonstrate how to master the interplay of light and shadow, creating a painting that mirrors the serenity and beauty of a coastal twilight. Ideal for beginners and students with some knowledge of the medium.
Specific skills you will learn
- Colour mixing
- 'Wet in wet' technique
- Extreme contrast with light and dark
- Different brush marks
- Creating distance and atmosphere
