Course details
Following on from our three time sold-out 'Introduction to Paper Embossing' classes, Mark joins us for a two-part class designed to offer some new and creative ideas to develop your own embossing work further.
Focused on the next steps, this class is aimed at those who have attended the introductory class, but is open to others too. Moving on from the basics, we will be putting together more complex compositions as Mark guides you though some of the methods, considerations, and design choices for bringing text and illustrative elements together to make a complete and unified artwork.
Specific skills you will learn
- Making aesthetic choices for composition
- Ways to arrange text and image
- Some considerations on creating your own letterforms
- Choosing imagery suited to embossed pieces
