This LivePlus™ online workshop is ideal for absolute beginners through to those with some experience of painting with watercolours 
 
Workshop details
In this two-part series, Jonathan will show you how to paint British summer landscapes with watercolour paint.

Using photos as reference he will demonstrate a different painting each week that will show you how to use lively brush marks with fresh, warm colours to paint the colours and atmosphere of early summer. One painting will be completed each week.

Equipment & materials list
Materials are not included in the course fee. All the materials and equipment you will need are listed below.  
  • 1 x A4 or ¼ imperial pad of ‘Not’ surface watercolour paper 140lb/300gsm (‘Not’ refers to the surface texture of the paper and is also known as CP (cold pressed) or Bockingford)
  • 1 x size 8 or 10 round watercolour brush
  • 1 x size 4 round watercolour brush
  • Watercolour paint, either tubes or pans. Jonathan recommends the following selection of colours: Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Cadmium Yellow Pale or Aureolin, Alizarin Crimson or Cadmium Red
  • Tissues
  • 2B pencil
  • Putty rubber
  • Water container

You needn't have the materials ready whilst watching the live demonstration – the demo session is a time to watch, ask and learn. After the demo you will be sent a link to the recording, which you can watch and paint along to as many times as you wish for thirty days.
