This LivePlus™ online workshop follows on beautifully from Sai's
Art Journaling: Watercolour Florals (Part 1) class in May, but is open to everyone.  This is a work-along workshop and so we would encourage students to have their materials to hand, ready to participate live during the class.

Workshop details
Art Journaling is a fun and simple way to be creative.  A new addition to our ONLINE programme, it fits very well with our ethos of 'Learn, Design, Create'. Throughout 2023, Sai Banerjee will be teaching a number of exciting sessions in which we will explore the joy of Art Journaling through different mediums and art techniques.

This class is the second of our new series - another delightful floral themed workshop in which
you will learn how to create a beautiful, intricate composition using simple watercolour florals.  Starting with a variety of loose watercolour elements, Sai will teach you how to create a wonderful floral heart similar to the one shown in the photo above.

Once you have learnt the basic floral elements and composition techniques, you can then adapt this fun and meditative process to any shape or design - perfect for cards or gifts for family or friends.

Specific skills you will learn at the workshop
  • Basic techniques and brush strokes for loose watercolour florals
  • How to create an intricate design using floral elements
  • Colour mixing
  • Tips and tricks for developing your floral painting skills

Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online blackboard. Helpful and easy to use, they enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – just as you would in a classroom environment.

Sai will offer personalised critique / feedback via the blackboard for any work uploaded by students within thirty days of the class ending. You will be sent the link to access your blackboard in the week before your class begins and will have access for at least sixty days after the class ends.

After the live session has finished on Zoom, we will share the link to view the recording on the blackboard.  You can watch the recording as many times as you like for sixty days.

We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
