‘Tis the season to turn our beautiful Artful Flourish skills into Festive Motifs for the upcoming season. In this special Part Two edition of the Artful Flourish, we will continue our refining of the cartouches and learn the magic of these motifs through stars, snowflakes, trees, wreaths, and garlands.
Offhand flourishing is a peaceful and mediative pointed pen skill, done without any preplanning or pencil sketching on the paper. The designs are the direct result of thinking on paper while using pen and ink. The pen flourishes grow organically and can be as simple or as ornate as you like.
The motifs studied in this class will be suitable for original cards to send throughout the Festive Season or can be framed as beautiful gifts. Let’s celebrate this season with joy and beauty!
