This free Art Talk is our festive gift to you.  Join us for a wonderfully warm talk that draws our 2026 programme to an end.

As the winter nights draw in, this talk is a celebration of home comforts and artists whose inspiration came from cosy domestic settings. In particular, Martin’s talk reflects the festive season and decorations in the home.

The choice of work, from the British Isles, Europe and North America, points to this time of year and interior settings. The talk also looks at gatherings of family and friends and also the subject of the welcome stranger.

Martin will provide a list of helpful books and links to further explore on a PDF following each of the talks via the class information page.
