This ONLINE class is suitable for beginners and those with some experience
 

In this autumnal class, Jan will demonstrate how to paint medlars in watercolour.  We will learn how to observe your subject, then draw and paint confidently, using fresh clean watercolour.
 

We will consider the technique of wet-into-wet, wet-into-dry, and learn how to build colour to give rich details.  We will also create soft shadows to give light and clarity to your work.
 

Jan will cover using masking fluid in appropriate areas and how to lift out colour.  We'll investigate ways of blending good browns and greens, which are often difficult, to enhance the tone and feel.
 

Jan will also offer insight on how to create an interesting composition in this informative, rewarding, and enjoyable class.
