Take time to slow down and indulge in a bit of ‘me’ time with this gentle work-along session. We will potter about with watercolours, pencils and pens, working our way through an absorbing project, immersed in the pleasure of the process.
 

In this session we will take our inspiration from the elegant and enigmatic owl. Starting with a sketching session to understand how to ‘construct’ an owl, we will work in an illustrative style creating layers of line and wash, adding decorative details and even a bit of gold to enhance the mystic of these beautiful birds.
 

You can work along with Karen at a gentle pace – a drawing will be provided if you want to focus on the painting – or work from your own sketches or photos incorporating the materials and methods demonstrated. So grab yourselves a cuppa, turn off your phone, and enjoy a peaceful morning playing with paint!
