Journey into an illuminated woodland wonderland as you create shimmering illustrated letters with a nostalgic storybook charm. The letters are deeply rooted in history, but we will put our own whimsical touches on them.
This class incorporates techniques gleaned from illustrators like Beatrix Potter, Cicely Mary Barker and Marie Angel. Students will explore these gilded that are embellished with penwork, vines and dry brush watercolour painting.
If you have a childlike sense of wonder and the desire to bring your visions to life with gold leaf and luminous colours, this class is for you. It is a great class to ignite your imagination and work on creative design skills.
