The Gothic hand is sometimes used as a starter script because it’s mainly made up of straight lines; there's a constant pen angle with contrastingly wacky capitals for a bit of light relief, like gates in a line of fence palings.
In this class we will enjoy the letters for their bold effect and possibilities for writing strong statements, but also for decorative treatment with the ornate capitals. The class will be suitable for beginners and those who want some revision of this robust and powerful hand.
