This workshop is suitable for for those with a little experience and those with more know-how.
Patchwork Stars
A lovely way to ease into the festive season! These patchwork stars are a perfect introduction to the traditional hand-stitched template technique of patchwork, also known as English Paper Piecing (EPP).
Students will learn how to:

Cut fabric to size

Cover templates

Join pieces together

Add stuffing and finish with a neat closure

Embellish with ribbons, beads, buttons, or other decorations
Hand-Embroidered Festive Decorations
Using a range of simple but effective embroidery stitches and appliqué, you’ll create a unique festive decoration.
Materials & Costs
Materials are not included in the booking fee. The tutor can take cash or card payment.

The tutor will bring pre-cut templates and shapes for the embroidered decorations (£3).

She will also provide felt, fabrics, embroidery threads, buttons, beads, and ribbons. Students can use these and reimburse the tutor depending on what they choose.

The tutor will have her sewing machine on hand in case anyone prefers to use it for their decoration.
