Join us as we gently create a lovely sketchbook page, or set of simple studies, enjoying the pleasure of spending time together creating something wonderful….in this session we will concentrate on ‘just one tree’!
Working from a selection of reference photos we will be combining paint and coloured pencils to explore a single tree, from its broad shape in summer, its skeleton of branches in winter and its nuts, leaves, seeds and blossom. There will be colour mixing demos using watercolour and/or gouache, along with drawing hints and tips.
You can work along with Karen at a gentle pace using the reference materials provided, or feel free to use your own creative freedom to incorporate the materials and methods Karen demonstrates working from your own photos of your favourite tree. The choice is yours!
