Take time to slow down and indulge in a bit of ‘me’ time with this gentle work-along session. We will potter about with paint & paper working our way through an absorbing project, immersed in the pleasure of the process.
 

In this fun workshop we will be making little layered landscapes with collage, paint, and pattern.   You'll create loose & lively mini works of art, with the emphasis on mark-making and layering.
 

Gather together a basic set of paints, pens and crayons to make your own collage papers then cut, tear and stick to form semi-abstract compositions inspired by a patchwork of hills, fields, hedges and trees.  Add in a cute cottage for scale and some loose and lively linework to create your own imagined landscapes.
 

These mini pieces can be used as starting points for a bigger piece, experimental sketchbook studies, or be little pieces of art in their own right - perfect for greetings cards and wall art.  This class is a great way to experiment with techniques and explore a theme through a mix of serendipity and intention.
 

Work along with Karen at a gentle pace, grab yourselves a cuppa, turn off your phone and enjoy a peaceful afternoon playing with paint and paper!
