In this two-hour online class, Jonathan will explore with you how to capture buildings in a landscape using pen and watercolour wash techniques.
You will learn to simplify shapes, suggest perspective, and add character with loose line work. A light watercolour wash will be used to introduce tone, atmosphere, and depth.
Working from reference images, you will learn how to create expressive sketches while building confidence in combining ink drawing with gentle colour washes.
