This class is suitable for beginners.
In this class, we will approach lettering as an art form - using it as a visual tool to enhance and explore interesting compositions. We will be drawing letters and words in creative, innovative ways; adding texture, colours and patterns. We will be exploring different styles (serif, sans serif etc) and different arrangements to create a fun composition.
We'll be working in pencil, fineliner pens, and watercolours, as well as metallics if you have them. It's a great way to loosen up, practice lettering, experiment with different styles, and find inspiration for future projects.
