En Plein Air Painting & Drawing
Mon 1st September
10am - 4pm
Tutor: Kevin Scully
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with experience
A day spent drawing or painting around the picturesque village of Bucklebury in Berkshire. We will be working outside in your preferred medium, whether it’s watercolour, oils, acrylic, simply drawing, or any other medium of your choice. You will be shown how to choose the best viewpoints, given advice on composition, what to include and more importantly what to leave out. We will be based in The Victory Room opposite the churchyard, so the usual refreshments will be available throughout the day together with lunch provided in the hall.
You’ll be able to also work inside on sketches created outside if you wish. Should the weather be unfavourable at any time, photographic reference will be provided of the painting locations, so you can continue working in the hall. If you’ve never painted outside before, this is your chance to experience painting ‘en plein air’!
