Scottish art is as rich and varied as its landscape, and yet it is often undervalued or overlooked.
Martin’s talk examines some of Scotland’s most brilliant artists, from 1800 through the nineteenth century and onwards through modernism.
The talk uses material from many Scottish collections that he has been to over the past few years, this hopefully will bring a freshness and excitement to the subject.
Martin will provide a list of helpful books and links to further explore on a PDF following each of the talks via the class information page.
