In this two-part series, Jonathan will show you how to paint stunning seascapes in watercolours.
Using photos as a reference, you will be guided on how to mix the colours of the sea, how to capture movement in waves, how to create effective skies, and how to paint headlands. In week one, we will focus on a glorious sunny, Mediterranean coastline; creating a painting full of warmth, sunshine, and clear, green seas. In week two, we will move onto something a little more dramatic; a dark and stormy seascape with crashing waves.
Beginners are welcome. Jonathan will provide the reference photos ahead of the class and demonstrate each painting step-by-step.
