This class is suitable for students of all abilities and is designed to be accessed live on Zoom.
 

Our 'paint along' sessions are the perfect opportunity to take the pressure off, slow down, and indulge in a bit of ‘you’ time. These stripped back sessions are a step away from our traditional jam-packed classes; there'll be no handouts and, more importantly, no homework!
 

In this midsummer session we will take our inspiration from the abundance of summer, creating a lovely illustrative picture of strawberries, leaves, and flowers. 
 

There will be colour mixing demos, and some simple layering techniques using watercolour or gouache or acrylics – whatever you have or prefer to work with.  Add a bit of linework with a dip pen or coloured pencils and a spot of spattering to complete your picture.

You can work along with Karen at a gentle pace – a template will be provided – or work from your own sketches or photos incorporating the materials and methods demonstrated.   Grab yourselves a glass of refreshing lemonade, turn off your phone, and enjoy a peaceful afternoon painting in the company of friends!
