'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas' will be our final talk of the year. We invite you all to join us, free of charge, to round off another wonderful year of learning about art history with Martin Beek.
 

The subject of this talk is white. Earlier this year, Martin gave talks on the primary colours red, blue, and yellow, followed by green, and most recently, black.  It seems only appropriate to follow up with the theme of white at this time of year!
 

Expect plenty of snowy images, as well as costumes and paintings that have minimal colour. The talk will include literary paintings and abstract work from all periods of western art.
