Learn the easy way to design and create exciting and beautiful decorative borders and motifs using grids and tracing paper. Borders can give the finishing touch to your calligraphy designs, enhance and enrich your certificates and invitations, or embellish greeting cards or scrapbook pages.
In this two-part class, we will have fun creating vibrant modern decorative patterns and motifs, both geometric and floral, using a pencil, technical pen, coloured pencils or pens and paint.
We will begin with simple grid designs, then look at the techniques and templates of progressively more intricate development of ideas. This class will be fun and informative for all levels.
