This class is a helpful exploration of colour mixing for students of all abilities -  beginners are very much welcome.

By popular demand, Jan Mehigan joins us for a two-part class dedicated entirely to the art of colour mixing in watercolour.

How much do you actually know about the watercolour paints that you use?  Creating a successful watercolour painting relies on an intimate knowledge of the paints that you apply.  Manufacturers offer a huge range of colours, which may seem to make it easier, but did you know that you can create many of those diverse colours yourself with a limited palette of just six or eight colours.

In these two informative sessions, Jan will show you how to mix a wide range of colours, achieving the correct results efficiently every time, rather than relying on a random stroke of luck.

The classes will also provide an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the terms and techniques  used in watercolour painting.  A must take class for any watercolourist!
