  • This class is suitable for those with some experience and is the perfect follow on to the Linoprinting: Basics & Beyond class

Linoprinting is a great technique to do at home…..easy to learn, minimum equipment and a whole host of variations once you’ve got the basics.  In this workshop we will explore beyond the basics to introduce layering and further colour techniques into your prints.

We will start with making a basic registration device. Then we'll look at working in layers… designing for a multi-layer linoprint,  creating interesting backgrounds using the back of the plate for simple monoprinting,  freeform layering incorporating polystyrene plates, gradated inking, and ‘spot’colour.

Using water-based or hybrid printing inks you can experiment and explore the possibilities of making a whole series of different but related prints.

A fun and creative workshop to expand or refresh your skills, and experiment with some new ideas that can easily be done at home.  Perfect for printing cards, wall art, fabric etc.
