In this free ‘Meet the Tutor’ talk, Janice Botterill will talk about her approach to working with reclaimed and re-purposed fabrics and threads to create fabric collages, quilts and drawings. She will also share examples of how traditional textile crafts and techniques are being used by contemporary artists in new and innovative ways.

Janice will be facilitating our new series of monthly textile-based workalong sessions where she will be sharing simple embroidery stitches and encouraging participants to spend an hour and a half of relaxing and creative sewing time creating their own unique stitched samplers.  You can see details of the first class here.
