This ONLINE class is suitable for students of all abilities.
 

There is something so evocative about a hand-written note.  In this four-part class, Bea will explore with us the beauty of handwriting as a form of personal, mindful expression.  Beyond words, handwriting becomes a visual language that reflects character, rhythm, and sensitivity.
 

We will work on an entire alphabet, lower case and capitals (with variations), looking at spacing, angles, and sizing to establish your own rhythm.  We will learn to observe each stroke, understand letter structure, and find balance between form and flow. From the fundamentals - posture, pressure, and rhythm - to building harmonious alphabets and elegant compositions, every step is designed to deepen your practice.
 

This is a space to reconnect with the simple pleasure of writing slowly, appreciating the process as much as the result. It is not about perfection, but about presence - each line is an opportunity to create something truly unique.
 

Throughout the class, we will explore different styles, tools, and techniques to help you develop a handwriting style that is refined, intentional, and entirely your own.  We will utilise our new skills in some fun festive projects throughout the course, such as envelopes, place cards, and bookmarks.
